Currently serving as the Founder of re_data, Mateusz is responsible for building and developing the platform. re_data is an open-source and dbt native data reliability framework that is built for modern data stacks. As a founder, Mateusz is passionate about creating a platform that can help improve the quality of data and make it accessible to everyone. Prior to founding re_data, Mateusz worked as a Data Engineering Manager and Senior Data Engineer at Samba TV. As a Data Engineering Manager, he led the data engineering and data science teams for the audience business. His responsibilities included identifying the most important areas for improvement, implementing and suggesting roadmap items, and ensuring the team was happy and challenged. As a Senior Data Engineer, Mateusz designed machine learning algorithms to compete in the programmatic advertising market. He also designed algorithms to compute data reports fast and in real-time using Spark and Elasticsearch. Mateusz's technical expertise includes data engineering, senior software engineering, data science, Spark, ML, and Elasticsearch. With his vast experience and technical knowledge, he is well-suited to lead the development of re_data and help organizations improve the quality of their data.
