Mathew Dominic Puthoor is a full stack developer with expertise in Python and the AWS ecosystem. He has a total of 8.78 years of relevant experience in building data pipelines and analytical tools. Mathew started his career at Oracle, where he worked on their PeopleSoft product for 2 years. He then moved to an early stage gaming startup called PlaySimple Games, where he was the 13th employee and the 4th engineer. During his time there, he built multiple data pipelines and an internal dashboard used by multiple teams. He was also involved in mentoring junior developers at that time. After PlaySimple Games, Mathew moved to an employee performance management company called Reflektive Labs. Here, he worked on creating dashboards for HRs and managers to see how the employees were performing with respect to their goals, reviews, etc. He was also involved in deciding future product features by working with product managers. Currently, Mathew is a Senior Software Engineer at GGWP, an early stage US-based startup that helps companies reduce toxicity in games. He was the second employee to be hired in their India office. He works closely with data analysts to collect data from various sources so that they can run their machine learning models on top of it. Mathew's technical skills include Python, AWS Lambda, Step functions, Redis, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Athena, Jenkins, and Terraform. He has made significant contributions to his current and past companies, including introducing a system to share common code between multiple lambdas, working on real-time data pipelines, and creating infrastructure where analysts can create charts and visualize data without having to query from Redshift database each time. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
