Mathura Vaidyanathan is the Director of Business Development at Atlan, a Modern Data Workspace that enables analysts, scientists, engineers, and business users to discover, manage, and monitor their enterprise data. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Mathura has a background in AI/ML automation, where she helped design and build bespoke automation solutions for F500 clients. She understands the importance of having a solid culture around data, which is why she is passionate about fixing some of the issues in the data management lifecycle. Mathura has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, with minors in Business and Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Ashoka University. Her tech stack includes AI, ML, and DevOps. Prior to Atlan, Mathura worked as the Director of Business Development at Haptik, a Conversational AI company that enables Fortune 500 brands and enterprises globally to enhance customer experience while saving costs and increasing sales. She was responsible for international expansion and GTM for new markets and Sales Leadership of SEA & ANZ regions. She also worked as the Head of Business Development, India at Soroco, where she developed the business development & client engagement functions. Mathura is passionate about democratizing data and bringing principles from disciplines such as agile, devops, and lean manufacturing to the data management lifecycle.
