Matt Allgeier is a Senior Technical Program Manager at Applied Materials, where he currently works as a Strategic Initiatives Program Manager in the Product Development Accelerator Department. He is responsible for developing and deploying Remote Connectivity and Augmented Reality (AR) Technologies to the company workforce. With over 15 years of relevant experience, Matt has a proven track record of successfully managing complex technical programs. In his previous role as a Technical Program Manager at Applied Materials, Matt worked in a Strategic Initiatives group in the Engineering Strategy and Infrastructure Department. He focused on developing business processes, tools, and people capabilities that helped increase success rates of their product development teams. His projects included launching a system for managing organizational objectives and accountability, conducting capability gap assessments, and developing training and software tools to close these gaps, and developing collaborative assessments that help to proliferate usage of BKMs across business unit and functional boundaries. Matt also served as the conduit between the business user community and the development team, developing digital tools that improved efficiency and collaboration for key processes. Before joining Applied Materials, Matt worked as a Manager of Strategic Planning at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where he managed and planned the internal investment portfolio for a Business Area with annual sales of over $500M. He led the development of proposals for large multi-year contracts, developed long-term strategic plans and technology roadmaps, and supported other key business development initiatives. Matt holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed his undergraduate education at Jeb Stuart High School. His technical expertise includes infrastructure, and he is known for his ability to manage complex technical programs with ease.
