Matt Hepburn is a highly experienced Software Engineer with a diverse range of skills and expertise in web development. With almost a decade of experience in the industry, Matt has worked in various roles and has gained extensive knowledge in both front-end and back-end development. In terms of front-end development, Matt has a deep understanding of ReactJS, React Hooks, JSX, Javascript (ECMAScript ES5 & ES2015 (ES6)), HTML5, semantic HTML, CSS3, grid, flexbox, and SASS. On the back-end side, he is proficient in Node.js, Express.js, NGINX, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CRUD, and RESTful API. Additionally, Matt has extensive knowledge of UNIX-like OS’s & tools such as POSIX shell scripting, BASH, regex, grep, sed, awk, and more. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Experient Group, where he applies his skills in developing web applications and systems. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from James Madison University and completed his Computer Science studies at Mercer County Community College.
