Matt Hagy is a seasoned Software Engineer with a Ph.D. in Computational Statistical Chemistry and over 9 years of relevant experience. Prior to Square, Matt worked at SafeGraph as a Senior Software Engineer, where he leveraged cloud vendors such as AWS and Databricks to get big things done quickly. He applied Scala and Spark to develop data workflows and performed data analysis and R&D to invent methods for data transformation workflows. Before that, he worked at LiveRamp as the Head of Identity Data Science, where he built, managed, and coached the company's first Data Science team.
