Matt Jacobs is a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer currently working with Stripe. With a career spanning over 16 years, Matt has worked with some of the biggest names in the tech industry, including Netflix and Gremlin Inc. At Netflix, Matt served as a Senior Software Engineer, Edge Platform, where he was responsible for developing and operating Netflix's API. He was also the maintainer of the OSS project Hystrix, which is a latency and fault tolerance library designed to isolate points of access to remote systems, services, and 3rd party libraries. Prior to Netflix, Matt worked at Gremlin Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer.
