Matt Moncur is a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently working at Facebook as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for creating products that enrich people's lives and delight users. Matt is passionate about writing simple yet robust code and promoting practices that streamline productivity while maintaining confidence in the code. Prior to joining Facebook, Matt founded Tent Makers Tech, where he offered services in mobile and web development. He also worked at Flipp as a Staff Software Engineer, where he was responsible for leading the U.S. expansion team to grow the weekly active users in pilot markets. He pioneered new ways of working through rapid prototyping, resulting in a faster go-to-market.
