Matt Ping is an experienced IT Principal Engineer with over 20 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry. Currently, he is working with Evernorth as an IT Principal Engineer, where he is responsible for supporting various FHIR and DaVinci APIs for the delivery of integration with Clinical data exchanges using AWS. Matt has previously worked with Cigna as an IT Principal Engineer and Architecture Manager. During his tenure at Cigna, he partnered with business teams to understand organizational goals and design solutions to achieve those goals. He also created high-level designs and provided feedback in support of the Enterprise Portfolio Management process. Matt has extensive experience in creating conceptual and logical architecture design documentation for projects, aligning various IT projects and IT team deliverables to ensure solutions meet long-term business goals, are reusable, and are not duplicative. Additionally, he supported the college hiring process by serving as a Campus Manager for the Technical Early Career Development Program (TECDP). Matt holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Drexel University, which he completed in 2016. His tech stack includes AWS and Integration, and he has a deep understanding of these technologies. Matt is a team player and a problem solver who is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure project success.
