Matt Willard is a seasoned Leadership Recruiter with over 14 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working as a Senior Leadership Recruiter (AI & Machine Learning) at meta, where he is responsible for hiring ML Leadership talent for their ML and AI teams in London, Paris, and Zurich. Matt is a founding member of the Machine Learning recruitment team for Facebook, London. During his time at Facebook, he built the sourcing strategy to support London FB's growth from circa 20 ML Engineers to 100+ within 2 years across Facebook and their research orgs. He is experienced in both Technical Sourcing and full life cycle recruitment across agency and in-house. Matt has recruited for a wide range of roles, including OO Software engineers (back, front and full stack across a wide variety of languages), Functional Programmers (Haskell, Erlang, Python, and more), Machine Learning Engineers/Scientists (Ranking, Recommendation, Image Processing, Adversarial ML, NLP, and more), Machine Learning Leadership, Finance software engineers (Equities, Strats, FICC, Internal Services, and e-trading), and Infrastructure (VMware, Citrix, Windows, and more).
