Mattheus Chediak is a full-stack roboticist with a passion for designing, constructing, and using fully autonomous robots to perform tasks traditionally done by human beings. With a focus on creating robots that can perform complex tasks in hazardous environments, Mattheus has developed a range of interactive installations using technologies such as machine learning, computer vision, distributed computing, robotics, controllers, sensors, embedded computing, and data visualization. One of Mattheus' key areas of expertise is in constructing robots from highly compliant materials, similar to those found in living organisms. He has also designed and constructed biomedical robots with physically flexible bodies and electronics, which are predominately or entirely soft. Mattheus is particularly interested in the automated recognition of patterns and regularities in data, with applications in statistical data analysis, decision-making, signal processing, image analysis, bioinformatics, computer graphics, and machine learning. Currently working as a Scientific Researcher at Ford, Mattheus has previously held roles as a Software Developer at Kpax Marketing Online Ltd and a Robotics Engineer at Protogenics Institute for Machine Intelligence. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Waterloo, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Paulista, and is currently working towards a Bachelor of Technology in Hydraulics and Fluid Power Technology/Technician at Senai São Paulo, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at UniCesumar. Mattheus' technical skills include research, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and software engineering. With over a year of relevant experience, Mattheus is a highly skilled and driven individual who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of robotics and natural language processing.
