Matthew Chum is an experienced DevOps Engineer with a proficiency in building and managing cloud infrastructure and microservices. He currently works at Security Compass, where he applies his expertise in DevOps to design and implement efficient and secure cloud-based solutions. Matthew has a strong background in software development and has previously worked as a Software Developer at Genesys. In this role, he created CloudFormation templates for provisioning autoscaling groups, ECS, load balancer, ElastiCache, and CloudWatch alarms. He also developed a Docker deployment pipeline using Jenkins and Ansible, which he deployed onto an ECS Cluster. Matthew worked closely with multiple development teams to build and flush out microservice deployment pipelines and clients for automated testing.
