Matthew E. is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over a decade of experience in finding better ways to do what engineers do. He has consistently transformed the scalability, quality, and velocity of large engineering organizations. Currently, he is working as Mobile Native Foundation's Mobile Native Foundation, where he is reinventing mobile development at scale. Matthew has a proven track record of creating the first international engineering organization at Robinhood, where he hired 30 people across five countries and focused on simplifying, standardizing, and automating the software development life cycle. He created mobile testing technology, which is now being donated to the Mobile Native Foundation to advance the industry forward. Before joining the Mobile Native Foundation, Matthew worked as a Senior Mobile Software Engineer in Test at Instructure, where he created and led the development of Flank, enabling fast and scalable test execution with Firebase Test Lab. He also set automation technical vision and team goals for Canvas & Bridge mobile to deliver on overall roadmap and incorporated industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies to constantly overachieve on goals. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from Eastern New Mexico University. He is proficient in Mobile, test, Software Engineer, and SDET technologies, with over 14.62 years of relevant experience.
