Matthew Huxtable is an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a breadth of knowledge in software and systems disciplines. With over 8 years of relevant experience, he is currently serving as the Head of Cloud Engineering at Ziglu, a digital currency platform. Matthew is comfortable working in cross-functional roles combining heterogeneous tech stacks, especially Go/Python, infrastructure (cloud, or real hardware & networks) and service delivery. He is at home working with customers/stakeholders and helping engineers to shine. He is seeking like-minded people who enjoy solving engineering challenges to leave a positive effect on society. Prior to his current role at Ziglu, Matthew served as the Lead Site Reliability Engineer at the same company and as a Systems and Software Consultant at Tiger Technologies Limited. Matthew has a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Advanced Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. He also has A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Further Mathematics from Petroc College and GCSEs (various) from Pilton Community College. Matthew's tech stack includes SRE, Python, infra, and software engineering. He is passionate about solving engineering challenges and leaving a positive impact on society.
