He is well-versed in UI development and has experience designing internal apps and dashboards using MaterialUI and React.js, implementing API logic, and ensuring timely delivery of stable work environments. With almost 6 years of relevant experience, Matthew has also worked as a Principal Software Engineer for Nike's Global Ops & Tech - International Expansion Team, where he designed internal apps and created UI for dashboards, among other responsibilities. He has also worked as a UI Developer for Gap, where he assisted in major refactor projects, upgraded dashboards for better UX, and collaborated with younger team members as a mentor. Matthew's educational background includes a degree in Molecular and Cellular Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is well-versed in a range of tech stacks, including UI, Javascript, Backend, Ruby, Web, Redux, Software Engineering, Search, NodeJS, Mobile, New Relic, CI/CD, ReactJS, Typescript, Jenkins, Microservices, DevOps, Integration, and Frontend.
