Before co-founding Rechain, Matthias was an investor in technology companies and venture funds. He invested in Cowboy, Italic, Houm, Snackpass, TrueNorth, and others, and was an LP in CapitalX, Rief Ventures, Austen Access Fund, and Jude Gomila Rolling Fund. He was also a lead software engineer at Veepee, where he led the engineering team working on Scalia. Matthias has a strong technical background in NLP and software engineering, having worked as a senior software engineer in the past.
