Maulik Madhavi is a highly skilled Research Scientist with over 5 years of relevant experience in the field. His career objective is to continuously improve his skills and resources to match up with state-of-the-art technologies, establish quality standards based on the criteria set up by the employer, and innovate to bring basic research to real-world applications. Currently serving as a Video Analytics Researcher at NCS Group, Maulik is responsible for developing chatbots that allow speech and text interface on the Android platform. He works on the problem of automatic call summarization, which is a combination of two systems, namely, ASR and NLU using state-of-the-art transformer-like models. Maulik leads the project team and works for project milestones, publishes research papers, contributes to fundamental research, mentors and supervises student projects, and organizes weekly group meetings and record minutes. Prior to his current role, Maulik worked as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, where he focused on chatbot development and related technologies. He also served as a Teaching Assistant at the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology. Maulik holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Speech Processing, Signal Processing, and Speech Information Retrieval from Dhiru Bhai Ambani Institute, a Master of Technology - MTech in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) from the same institute, and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot 047. Maulik's technical skills include Android, NLU, Azure, and other relevant technologies. He is highly motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.
