Max Brodeur-Urbas is a Software Engineering student at McGill University with a passion for competitive programming. As the Co-President of the Student Society of Competitive Programmers at McGill, he is dedicated to fostering interest in algorithmic problem-solving and advancing the university's involvement in competitive programming. Max has a proven track record of leadership and organization, having led the executive team in hosting events and challenges while representing McGill in intercollegiate and international competitions. He is also the organizer of McGill TechGames and recurring algorithmic workshops, where he shares his knowledge and experience with other students. Prior to his current role, Max served as the VP of Competitions at CompeteMcGill, where he aided in the organization and preparation of a student team to represent McGill at the ACM ICPC Competition, CS Games, and beyond. He has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft. Max's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from McGill University, which he is set to complete in 2021, and a DEC in Pure and Applied Sciences from Marianopolis College. He has a strong technical background and is skilled in software engineering. With 2.78 years of relevant experience, Max is a driven and dedicated individual who is passionate about competitive programming and advancing McGill's involvement in the field. He is a natural leader, a skilled organizer, and a knowledgeable mentor, making him an asset to any team.
