Max Henry is a Senior Software Engineer at Webscale Networks, with a passion for creating scaled technology solutions that remove barriers for fresh perspectives and improve efficiency in communities. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Max has worked on a range of projects, from rapid prototyping to field testing and installation. His tech stack includes Ruby, Golang, C++, Python, Java, and Linux. Max has a track record of leading small teams that make large impacts, including the development of sensor interfaces that integrated novel data and control of task-burdened operators. He has also led major UAV integration projects, including an airborne-sensor control interface and real-time data exploitation system that maximizes operator situational awareness and minimizes information overload. Max has curated and overseen the development of operator's handgrip workflows, making mission-critical functionality efficient to use while negotiating safety requirements to deliver novel laser capability. Max has also conceptualized and prototyped a C++ weather data ingest system that helps UAV operators avoid grounding weather, lengthening time in the air and combating obstructions caused by cloud cover. He has managed a team over an aggressive 90-day sprint that prototyped three major experimental capabilities in support of a highly visible multi-vendor demonstration, the result of which would determine future program funding. Max's education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.
