Max Kiss is a highly skilled Hardware Engineer with over 7 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he is employed at Lion Embedded Design as an Embedded Software Engineer. Max has previously worked at Grow as a Hardware Engineer where he was responsible for hardware product reliability testing, analog circuit design, board bring-up, and testing for product hardware for I2C moisture sensor. He also has expertise in statistical analysis with Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter Notebooks) and built and maintained dashboard web UI (Plotly, Flask, MongoDB, AWS). Prior to that, he worked as a Research Assistant at Nanergy Solar where he contributed to the development of hybrid Ni-Fe battery systems with a hydrogen fuel cell for home energy storage applications. His responsibilities included performing and summarizing physical experiments, collecting and analyzing data (NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter Notebooks, Excel), preparing materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations, and conducting literature reviews. Max holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Michigan, where he graduated in 2015. He also attended The Bronx High School of Science from 2007 to 2011. Max has a strong technical skill set in Software Engineering, Jupyter, test, AWS, Python, Pandas, MongoDB, Flask, ui, Web, and Research Science.
