Max Meacham is a COVID Task Force Officer currently serving in the Georgia Army National Guard. He has served as a Battalion liaison officer between the COVID task force and the 78th Troop Command. Max has overseen 31 large food distribution events in South Georgia which gave food to over 40,000 families. He has also managed National Guard support for the district 3 vaccination site which injected over 245,000 vaccine doses. Max has singlehandedly managed 135 Soldiers while on COVID orders ensuring that all Soldiers were adequately provided for and that the mission was accomplished. He provided administrative guidance to subordinates in order to ensure that all admin tasks and documents were done legally and bureaucratically correct. Max reported and tracked food bank and vaccination site manning numbers, food deliveries, COVID test numbers, and vaccine doses administered daily to higher headquarters. Max has worked closely with GEMA (Georgia Emergency Management Agency) to ensure that food banks, testing sites, and vaccination centers received the necessary support they needed from the Army National Guard. He has also overseen the quarantining of COVID positive and COVID exposed personnel in accordance with CDC guidelines. Max has advised senior commanders on staffing needs of various sites during manpower shortages due to COVID outbreaks to ensure that all food banks and vaccination sites had the minimum people necessary to conduct successful operations. Max has previously worked as a Software Engineer at General Assembly and as an Account Executive at BlocNets Inc. At BlocNets Inc., he was responsible for sales forecast management, sales reporting via BLOCNETS CRM tools, commission forecasting (Internal and External Sales Groups), liaison between the sales organizations and the deployment organizations, managed sales events (trade shows/conferences/meetings), coordinated the distribution of sales materials, and managed customer and supplier NDA's. Max has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Alabama, which he completed in 2017. He has 7.36 years of relevant experience in the field of Software Engineering.
