Max Miller is an experienced Full Stack Web Developer with a passion for creative problem-solving and working with people. With over 8 years of experience in technology sales, Max decided to rekindle his previous interest in coding and enrolled in a 15-week immersive software engineering boot camp with Flatiron School to jumpstart his new career pivot. He graduated in May 2021 and is now a Developer at United Airlines. Max has experience using ReactJS, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Ruby, SQL, CSS, and HTML, and has just started diving into Redux and Python. He is a well-rounded individual with broad interests including sales and marketing, management, networking, sports, live music, animals, and the outdoors, from horseback riding to skiing. Max's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Marketing from Miami University, as well as studies in European Experience and Chinese Language and Literature from Miami University John E. Dolibois European Center and Tianjin Foreign Studies University, respectively. He also completed a Computer Software Engineering program at Flatiron School in 2021. Max's past work experience includes roles at Flatiron School as a Full-time Student in Software Engineering and at Nobilite Communications as a Channel Sales Consultant. With over 10 years of relevant experience, Max is a skilled Software Engineer with a strong focus on web development and a deep understanding of Ruby, JavaScript, SQL, and Redux.
