He also developed and tested potential new designs ranging from photovoltaic to battery management systems, to MPPTs, and more. Max worked as part of a fast-paced, agile team, developing cubesats to make space accessible. He also wrote test scripts for automated testing of subsystems, including stress testing, and wrote requirements, test procedures, board bring-up tests, and verification tests. Max's experience at Safran Electrical & Power as a Senior Electronic Specialist Engineer includes research and development of generator control units (GCUs) for more electric aircraft, from system requirements through to production. He led trade-offs for next-generation power supplies, comparing flyback, two-switch forward, and phase-shifted bridge converters. Max designed the power system architecture, analog circuit design, digital implementation of analog circuits, modeling, and simulation of designs. He also designed, schematized, and reviewed PCBs for exciter field drive to 140kVA generators and tested digital control units on real generators in test cells. Max has experience in all aspects of the V model, including capturing and writing hardware requirements. Max's tech stack includes test and research scientist. With his technical expertise, drive, and passion for innovation, Max is a valuable asset to any team.
