Maxim Tarasov is a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager with over 13 years of relevant experience in the technology industry. He is currently working at dexcom, where he leads a cross-functional team of mobile app and backend engineers, designers, quality assurance, regulatory, and documentation specialists. His primary responsibility is to develop an innovative product offering in the diabetes space and bring it to market. Maxim is also responsible for coordinating timelines and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders. Maxim has previously worked at dexcom as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior iOS Engineer. As a Staff Software Engineer, he worked with a distributed team of engineers to create new experiences for iOS and Android platforms. He also expanded the team's capacity by leveraging offshore resources and facilitated the onboarding and integration of new team members into the project. As a Senior iOS Engineer, Maxim worked on the SDK iOS team, developing components for connecting to and communicating with Bluetooth medical transmitters. These components range from BLE communication to data visualization to networking and persistence (using Realm). They were delivered to both internal and external customers and had to be well-documented and covered by extensive Unit Tests. Maxim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Voronezh State University, an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Journalism/Computer Science from Western Wyoming Community College, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Technological Leadership from Arizona State University.
