Maxime Heckel is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Tango, a position he currently holds. He has been building UIs for container management tools since 2013. Maxime started his career in software engineering in Madrid, Spain, after moving from Eastern France. Shortly after, he got an opportunity to move to San Francisco, CA, after the acquisition of Tutum by Docker, his first job out of college. Maxime's experience includes building SDKs and internals for TutumCloud in Go, as well as taking his first steps as a frontend engineer when building Stackfiles.io. Today, his main focus is building high-quality, well-designed enterprise products with React, Redux, and Styled Components. He strives for clean, well-tested, and accessible UI projects. Recently, he has also brought his attention to building a scalable design system component library and tools to make the frontend teams he works with more productive and help them build consistent product experiences. Maxime's past companies include MadHive, where he worked as a Lead Frontend Engineer, and Docker, where he worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer. At Docker, he worked on diverse projects involving mainly frontend technologies, including maintaining Docker Cloud, Docker's cloud offer for container management on cloud providers, and working on the frontend side of UCP (Universal Control Plane), the main enterprise offer for companies to orchestrate their Docker containers/apps across their cluster. Maxime was also a core contributor to the Docker Design System React library, a shared library of React components used across the entire set of UIs at Docker. Maxime holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mathematics and Computer Science from ensiie and a degree in Mathematics and Physics from cpge lycée saint louis. His tech stack includes Frontend, Docker, Redux, UI, Web, Javascript, Selenium, test, and Integration. With 7.78 years of relevant experience, Maxime is a talented engineer with a passion for building high-quality, well-designed enterprise products.
