Maya Ebsworth is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. Currently, she is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Alto Pharmacy, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining the pharmacy operating system that helps bridge the gap between medical providers, insurance companies, and patients. Prior to joining Alto Pharmacy, Maya worked as a Software Engineer at YouTube, where she developed software to make YouTube the place to experience and share virtual reality video. During her tenure at YouTube, she helped launch the YouTube VR standalone Android app on Google Daydream, Lenovo Mirage Solo, Samsung Gear, and Oculus Go. She primarily worked on the frontend, building out an interactive VR video user interface by leveraging Android UI libraries, combined with an internally built C++ graphics engine, and integrating the client with YouTube's centralized backend services. Maya holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, which she completed in 2016. Prior to that, she attended The Winsor School, where she completed her high school education in 2012.
