Mayank Anchlia is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Research Institute Bangalore, with a focus on Computer Vision and Image Processing. He has over 5 years of relevant experience in the field and has worked on several challenging problems related to image processing during his time at Samsung. Mayank has been involved in the deployment of solutions that have positively impacted the Samsung consumer experience, reaching millions of users worldwide. Currently, Mayank is working on developing an intelligent denoising network for video frames as part of the Low Light Video Denoiser project. He is also working on creating a contrast-based tone remapping solution as a preprocessing pipeline, which takes input as 8bit YUV and sends it to the denoising network. Additionally, Mayank has developed a lightweight SDK and Google CameraX extensions interface to provide third-party camera apps like Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, QQ, and TikTok with similar image and video quality as that of the Samsung Camera app. Mayank's past experience includes working as a Software Engineer and an Intern at Samsung, where he developed a tool to automatically translate application code from one platform to another, specifically Microsoft UWP to Tizen Platform. During this project, he worked on Roslyn, objective C, and Clang compiler. Mayank holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. hons) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he completed in 2018. He has a diverse tech stack, including expertise in Computer Vision, Software Engineering, Research Science, Image Processing, Mobile, Android, Java, TensorFlow, AI, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas, and Neural Networks.
