Mayank Arya is a highly skilled Head of Engineering at Basis, a first-of-its-kind platform aimed at enabling women to achieve financial independence through expert advice, in-app learning modules, and supportive communities. With over 4.7 years of relevant experience, Mayank has a strong background in software development, engineering, and deployment. In his current role, Mayank is responsible for end-to-end ownership of Backend Development and Deployment using nginx on AWS. He also handles API development using Nodejs with MongoDB and Redis and front-end web app development using React-Redux. His technical expertise includes NodeJs, MongoDB, Redis, React-Redux, Firebase, and AWS. Prior to joining Basis, Mayank worked as a Software Development Engineer at Valuefy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for six months, where he developed an analytics module for portfolio management done by Relationship Managers. He used Loopback framework of NodeJs, along with MySQL, Elastic Search, MongoDB, and Redis. Mayank has also worked as a Freelance Web Developer for Samson Laboratories Private Limited, where he built and deployed their product portfolio landing page along with a working backend to store and show different images for Samson Labs. He built a landing page using HTML, CSS, JQuery, and Bootstrap and a backend server on NodeJs, using MySQL as a database. He also bought, configured, and hosted their domain and server on GoDaddy. Mayank holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from UIET and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp. He also completed courses in JAVA and Cloud Computing from Ducat and System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager from Nettech. He completed his high school education from All Saints Convent School, New Tehri, Uttarakhand.
