Additionally, Mayank is working on authentication and authorization for various user personas and system components in Kubernetes clusters. Prior to his current role, Mayank served as Member of Technical Staff 3 and Member of Technical Staff 2 at VMware. In these roles, he worked on containerizing and deploying an existing software stack on Kubernetes, integrated with managed services like AWS RDS. He also built a proof of concept monitoring and alerting system for log collection, metrics, and deployment health. Mayank's education history includes a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from BITS Goa.
