Mayank Dang is an experienced Software Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the Internet industry. He has a proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality solutions end-to-end. Mayank has successfully completed multiple projects from scratch, donning multiple hats - including writing code, hiring software engineers, mentoring them, setting up the coding standards, and delivering high-quality solutions on time. Apart from his software engineering experience, Mayank is also an Investor and mostly invests in early-stage startups in the domains of blockchain (web 3.0), AI, and security. He runs a self-developed automated trading bot that implements custom trend, momentum, and swing trading strategies on several liquid spot and futures markets. Mayank is open to writing and speaking on topics related to Decentralized Web / Web 3.0 (NFT's, Bitcoin, Blockchain, Ethereum, L1's, L2's, IPFS, Crypto Mining, Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, Crypto Wallets, etc), System Design, Scalable Systems, Optimization Systems, Game Theory, and Finance. Currently, Mayank is working as a Software Engineer at Confluent, where he has designed and implemented a set of Smart Notification APIs for Confluent Cloud to proactively alert customers of potential issues with their Kafka deployment. He has also developed a framework to guarantee SLAs for the org-wide logging pipeline, ensuring completeness & robustness. Mayank has led the unit & performance testing, product documentation, and official release of the Redis sink connector for Kafka. Previously, Mayank was the Founder of MadX Ads, an Internet solutions company focused on developing innovative and high-impact solutions for premium digital publishers and advertisers. He has also worked as an Investor & Blockchain Researcher. Mayank holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from IITK, where he graduated in 2013. He has also completed his Class XII and Class X from Bal Vikas School, Panipat.
