Mayank Grover is the Founder and CEO of Outscal, a community for game developers in the web2 and web3 space. With over a decade of professional experience building high-quality games, Mayank is passionate about helping people break into the gaming industry by assisting them with their portfolios, connecting them with industry mentors for mentorship, and unlocking access to top-tier game companies. He has worked with top tech companies around the globe including Electronic Arts, Kixeye, DeNA, Junglee Games, and D.E.Shaw. Mayank started Outscal in 2018 with the aim of building a community that he wished existed when he was entering into the gaming industry back in 2010. Today, Outscal has over 7000 game builders and enthusiasts on Discord. The community offers two core offerings: Launchpad, a 100% scholarship program, and a 7-month aggressive program curated to help people break into the gaming industry. Outscal aims to distribute scholarships worth $1,00,000 in 2022 to enable and educate people about building a career in the games industry. Mayank holds a Master's degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Delhi College of Engineering. He also completed the Y Combinator Startup School program. Currently, Mayank is a Transcend Fellow for the W20 cohort. He has also worked at Junglee as Tech + Games.
