Mayank Jain is a Senior Product Engineer at GruBox, an IoT-enabled vending machine company that is revolutionizing the online-to-offline e-commerce industry. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Mayank is responsible for the HLD design of systems and core application architecture, managing workflows across business verticals, and ensuring scalability and high performance. He works closely with the supply chain management team to develop systems that power the smart machines spread across the GruBox Network using predictive analysis for supplies, customer pattern recognition for improving engagement, and developing key metrics to monitor the performance of the supply chain. Mayank has a proven track record of delivering results. In his previous role as a Product Engineer at Grubox.in, he was responsible for development across various product domains, including UI/UX, process flows, and software development in both B2C and B2B products of the company. He has worked across Android, iOS, and backend teams to release two awesome applications targeting ease of transactions using their platform with key ownership of transactions, payments and refunds systems, customer feedback management systems, and user registration systems. In addition to his technical expertise, Mayank also has experience in leadership and team management. He was the General Secretary of the Films and Media Council at the Students' Gymkhana, IIT Kanpur, where he was elected by a mandate of 6000+ students as the representative of the student community. He spearheaded a 4-tier team of 30 coordinators, 200 secretaries, and volunteers for conceptualizing and organizing year-round activities of 6 clubs and 2 hobby groups within a total budget of ₹ 15 lacs. He mentored and supervised club coordinators for efficient planning and conduction of activities, streamlined the working of clubs to create a motivated, hardworking, and dedicated team with an ascertained target, vision, and insight, and organized various sessions, summer schools for photography, design, film, and journalism for 300+ students promoting an environment for filmmakers, designers, editors, and photographers. Mayank holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and completed his high school education from D.A.V. Centenary Public School. His tech stack includes software engineering, Android, iOS, UI, backend, and research scientist.
