Mayank is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has a passion for using his knowledge of Mathematics and Engineering to create value. Currently, he works as an SDE-II at OYO, where he is optimizing video codecs using Machine Learning. Mayank has 2.86 years of relevant experience in the industry and has worked with top organizations such as the Indian Institute of Science, where he was a Research and Development Intern and a Summer Research Intern. During his time at IISc, he worked in the Distributed Systems research group and used Coding theory to analyze latency trade-offs in Distributed Computing and Storage systems from a theoretical perspective. Mayank's technical skills include Software Engineering, Microservices, ML, Java, Research Scientist, Kafka, Redis, Spring, AWS, SQL, Jenkins, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and infra. He has a strong understanding of Machine Learning and has used it to optimize video codecs. He is also proficient in Java and has worked on various microservices projects.
