Mayank Joneja is an experienced Robotics and Firmware Engineer currently serving as Sr. Software Engineer - Robotics at Vimaan. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Mayank has a deep understanding of Embedded Systems Engineering and is passionate about Hardware Product Development and Robotics. Mayank's expertise lies in Networked Embedded Systems, IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks, Design Thinking, Mobile Cyber-physical Systems and Robotics, and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. He has worked on various projects, including Embedded GPU Image processing for JADE product at Vimaan and Tonbo Imaging, where he served as an Embedded Vision Engineer. Mayank has also worked as an Embedded Systems Intern at Inventrom Pvt. Ltd. - Bolt IoT, where he was responsible for global outreach, marketing, and supporting technical sales. He was also a part of the team that reached 100% goal in 5 hours for an ongoing Kickstarter campaign. At Bolt IoT, he developed firmware and hardware setups along with tutorials for demo use-cases for anomaly detection and social media-based IoT applications. He also designed the hardware and software support of the next generation Bolt IoT devices. Mayank has a strong educational background, having completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Embedded Systems from TU Berlin, a Master's degree in ICT Innovation from EIT Digital Alumni, and another Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Embedded Systems from Aalto University. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Mayank's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Image Processing, ML, and Mobile. He is a highly motivated individual who is always eager to learn and grow.
