Mayank Parashar is an accomplished Engineering Leader with over a decade of experience in the tech industry. Currently working as an Engineering Leader at meta, Mayank has previously worked with Amazon and Microsoft in various roles such as Product Manager, Senior Software Engineer, and Engineering Leader. Mayank has a balanced experience in Product and Tech, which has helped him to guide his team of 20+ multi-discipline roles to execute and deliver customer delighting features. He has primarily worked on API, Machine Learning, Neural Network, Search Engines, Mobile technology, Distributed systems, IOT & Bots. As a Product Manager, he follows one learning - sell the problem you solved, not the product. As an Engineering Manager, he has strived to build minimal viable products fast, launch them for customers, and build incremental features based on customer feedback, yet ensuring the platform is scalable and quality is not compromised. At Amazon, Mayank led a team of 24+ people to work on confidential projects across Amazon.in (B2C) and Amazondistribution.in (B2B) to revolutionize the way India buys and sells. He was instrumental in launching new business models for buying and selling for the India marketplace from scratch under 7 months. He also launched Retail and Direct Fulfillment API for India and WW marketplace to be used by Selling partners. He enabled multiple new features to help Indian vendors and sellers operate with better economic viability. He also launched cross-country and domain selling partner API gateway in partnership with multiple WW teams. At Microsoft, Mayank is currently working on Email Substrate Intelligence Infused AI Platform and Products, which lights up Outlook and Cortana endpoints. He is responsible for designing, defining, and owning E2E customer scenarios. He is leading the Science Tech team to deliver next-gen tech based on AI techniques like ML, CRF, DNN, etc. He is driving the full pipeline architecture of the E2E system and cross-geo team collaboration for Product Strategy, Road Map, and Launch. He is also building a strong DA team. Mayank has worked on various incubations, including designing a ChatBot that helps users in their shopping intent along with superfast search and price comparison results across various websites. He has also worked on Knowledge Graph and BING NEXT features to power Bing Search Engine for rich user experience and build a world-class knowledge graph. Mayank holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The National Institute of Engineering. May
