Mayank Sharma is an experienced software product designer and developer, specializing in product security for SaaS, on-prem, and highly distributed systems. With over 9 years of relevant experience, he has worked on several projects involving character device drivers and kernel-level modules, including the development of a POC for Fujitsu's 'Eternus' storage product. Mayank has also worked with Cisco Systems India Ltd. as a backend security developer, where he developed security solutions for Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) and Cisco Intersight, a cloud-based product for managing UCS-powered data centers. Currently, he is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware Software India Ltd., responsible for product security and architecting, developing, and enhancing various features for the NSX Advanced load balancer cloud services. He also has delivery responsibilities for Go SDK, Hashicorp Terraform provider, and Hashicorp NIA modules. Mayank holds a Master of Technology degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Chitkara University. He is skilled in software engineering, backend development, Terraform, product design, and senior software engineering. In his career, Mayank has worked with several top-tier companies, including Wipro, where he served as a UNIX system developer. He is a highly motivated and dedicated professional with a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
