Mayank Vachher is a highly skilled software engineer at Google with a passion for using data and technology to drive global impact. With a strong background in applied machine learning, collaborative filtering, natural language processing, and statistical modeling, Mayank is well-equipped to achieve his ambitious goals. His experience programming with Big Data technology stacks and frameworks such as scikit-learn, Hadoop, and Apache Spark has further honed his expertise. Mayank recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Science with Computing Science (Big Data specialization) from Simon Fraser University, where he focused on developing his skills in data science and research. Prior to that, he completed his bachelor's degree at IIIT Delhi, where he was a member of the Precog Research Group as a data science researcher. During this time, he was engaged in understanding and preventing selfie deaths. Mayank has worked at Electronic Arts (EA) as both a Data Engineer and Digital Analyst. During his time at EA, he invented a tool to fetch livestream viewership counts from Twitch and YouTube during key events such as E3 and EA Play Conference to provide support to 9+ global stakeholders. He also conceptualized frameworks for various analyses pertaining to interactions between social metrics and various marketing-related KPIs and provided new dashboards such as Franchise Health and Globetrotter. Mayank's tech stack includes software engineering, big data, research science, recommendation systems, NLP, Spark, Scikit, data engineering, ML, and data science.
