Mayukh Nair is a highly skilled software engineer with over 5 years of experience in building intelligent, data-driven, and user-friendly software. Currently working as a Software Engineer - Python at CollegeDekho, Mayukh has taken charge of the Eddy chatbot, building intents and flows that answer text questions using CollegeDekho's database. He has increased efficiency and scale in answering complex queries with an interface built on DialogFlow and Elasticsearch, and extended the same across the chatbot and other CollegeDekho products, ranging from site search to internal tools that assist counsellors in real-time. Mayukh has also built frontend and backend code flows in Python, Django & JavaScript (jQuery) with various third-party APIs. He rebuilt the Eddy chatbot for full modularity of the frontend and backend, enabling the chatbot's responses for regression testing. He has taken DevOps responsibilities, building uptime monitoring tools for the chatbot and migrating a manually deployed staging environment to Jenkins CI pipeline. Mayukh has delivered knowledge transfer sessions for the Technology team and delivered functional prototypes for tech demos of the Eddy chatbot. He has worked as an intern at Absolutdata Analytics, where he deployed speech recognition to build a potential tool for customer data analytics. He has also worked as a writer at Refraction - Tech + Everything, where he created a primarily tech blog on Medium and received over 50000+ claps from over 6000+ readers for his first article - a layman's guide to the inner workings of Netflix. Mayukh holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Studies & Research in Computer Science from Ashoka University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the same university. He has also attended a summer school at Tel Aviv University, where he studied Cybersecurity in the Startup Nation and Arab Identity and Conflict. He completed his secondary education in Science from Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar.
