Mayur Bargal is an experienced GIS Analyst with almost 9 years of experience in the field of Resources and Environment. He is currently working at Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) where his role involves obtaining GIS data through research and collection from the best available sources. Mayur has extensive experience working with Middle East and Africa datasets and is responsible for organizing GIS data in a manner that is easy to locate and identify, while ensuring accuracy and quality in all data. He also analyzes the best way to determine output with company standards and delivers and reviews maps in support of tasks. Mayur has also worked as a GIS Analyst at Cept Research and Development Foundation where he built digital databases and gathered and verified information in the field of Transport. He applied and analyzed GIS techniques to present spatial information in a digital platform in the form of maps, integrated many sets of attribute and spatial data through its linear referencing system, and facilitated the integration of all other socio-economic data with transport network database for a wide variety of planning functions. He also did spatial analysis and applied standard GIS functionalities such as thematic mapping, charting, network-level analysis, simultaneous access to several layers of data, and worked on the same, as well as the ability to interface with external programs and software for decision support, data management, and user-specific functions. Mayur has a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Geomatics from Cept University and a Master's degree in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from the University of Applied Sciences. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from RGPV and Higher Secondary Education in Chemistry and Physics, Maths from Lokmanya Vidya Niketan.
