Medha Gupta is a technology enthusiast, a leader, and a dance freak with a passion for driving change and making an impact. She is currently working as a Management Consultant at Accenture, where she leverages her experience in technology and leadership to drive key business initiatives. Medha's education in computer science has driven her passion for technology, and she has been involved in many projects that have had a significant impact on her surroundings. She drove an initiative to automate the anesthesia drug delivery system of PGI, Chandigarh, and at PayPal, she introduced a scalable technology and was the first to adopt it. As part of an innovations team, she is determined to apply out-of-the-box thinking to solve key business issues. Medha is also a leader and has built a girl's basketball team from the ground up while captaining the basketball team in college. At PayPal, she had the opportunity to drive projects in the most critical space of PayPal's business: the compliance team. She organized a speaker series for the compliance team (TechByte) and was selected for a young leaders program. Aside from her passion for technology and leadership, Medha is also a dance freak. She has been training in Indian classical dance since the age of three and has participated and won multiple dance events since childhood. She has also participated in several stage events at PayPal. Medha's past experiences include working as a Summer Intern at Mastercard and as a Software Engineer 2 at PayPal. She was instrumental in designing and implementing a case search feature within the compliance team using elastic search and rest APIs. She also developed a fully scalable and configurable UI based on react.js and was instrumental in onboarding the infrastructure for it. She worked with the operations team to build software solutions to reduce agent handling time and was an active member of PayPal-CAN to drive initiatives for PayPal's Chennai center. Medha holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar. She also holds an Indian School Certificate Exam degree in Science from Dr. Virendra Swarup Education Center, Kanpur. Medha's tech stack includes Search, Software Engineer, ReactJS, Javascript, Elastic Search, UI, and Infra. With 4.94 years of relevant experience, Medha is a driven and accomplished professional who is passionate about technology, leadership, and making a difference.
