Meet Desai is a Master of Business Management candidate at Schulich School of Business, with a passion for business, technology, and people. With an undergraduate degree in Information Technology Engineering, Meet is an all-rounder who excels in academics and extracurricular activities. He has experience as a Software Engineer at Majesco, where he developed customized insurance software products for a US insurance client. Meet's goal is to become a Product/Project Manager with a blend of strategy and marketing. He enjoys playing with numbers and has a keen interest in technology. Meet has interned in R&D Big Data at CognitoIT consulting, where he gained exposure to the Hadoop framework. Apart from his professional pursuits, Meet is an avid traveler, socializer, and reader. He believes in the power of diverse perspectives and enjoys talking to people to gain new insights. Meet has also served as a Chairperson at Institution of Engineers, India, which has added to his experience and leadership skills. Currently, Meet is a Strategy Intern at Ethnicity Matters, where he is gaining valuable experience in strategic planning and execution. He has previously worked as a Portfolio Specialist for the Graduate Business Council at Schulich School of Business, where he was responsible for planning, executing, and hosting all GBC social events and functions. Meet is a well-rounded individual with a diverse skill set and a passion for learning. He is set to complete his Master's degree in Management from Schulich School of Business in December 2022.
