Meet Gupta is a highly experienced Director of Engineering with over 14 years of experience in developing mobile apps and web (PWA) from scratch, as well as improvising and maintaining existing apps. He has worked for top companies such as TataCLiQ, Shuttl, Paytm, Fab.com, and Tokopedia, where he served as an Engineering Manager. Meet has a keen eye for UI/UX and is able to deliver pixel-perfect UI. Currently, Meet is the Director of Engineering at TataCLiQ Luxury and Marketplace, where he is responsible for managing a team of 94 developers and 5 EMs/SEMs. He has set up an intense engineering process for his team to work efficiently and deliver better quality. Meet has also led an initiative for optimizing the performance of PWA and Desktop web for Luxury and Mall, achieving a 30-50% optimization for better Page Speed and SEO. Additionally, he has reformed the hiring process for the tech team and helped the team hire around 60-65 techies with experience of 0-17 years. In the past, Meet has worked as an organizer for Mobile Flock Meetup Group, a group for tech enthusiasts specifically for Mobile Platforms. He has also worked as an Engineering Manager at Tokopedia, where he managed around 12 modules of the iOS application and a team of 13 developers and 3 leads. Meet built a culture of higher productivity, learning, and efficient delivery and ran many initiatives on the iOS front like Unit Tests coverage, Dark Mode, Apple Watch, iPad App, Widgets, and SharePlay which got them featured a couple of times on AppStore. Meet also led an org-level initiative for optimizing the PLT of iOS, Android, and Web apps of Tokopedia to bring it under 1-3 secs. Meet holds a B.E. degree in Electronics & Communications from JNIT (Rajasthan University), Jaipur, and completed his 10+2 from Adarsh Inter College, SPN, U.P.
