Meet Patoliya is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in Computer Science and Engineering. Currently, he is serving as a Summer Research Intern at IIT Guwahati, where he is working under the guidance of Dr. Sanasam Ranbir Singh, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE. Meet has implemented the latent dirichlet allocation (LDA) algorithm for topic modelling, which has contributed towards building the 'Event Detection Engine' from news articles. Meet has previously worked as a Full Stack Developer at Students Web Committee IIT Guwahati, where he built a web portal for institute-wide automation of 'No Dues Form' using Django framework. He has also served as a Summer Research Intern at Samsung, where he proposed and implemented a pipeline for detection and verification of argumentative claims from a given text, which served as one of the stages in a larger pipeline of fake news detection. Meet holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He is a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer with expertise in HDFS, Research Scientist, Mobile, and other relevant tech stacks. With 3.69 years of relevant experience, Meet is an excellent problem solver and a quick learner, who is always willing to take on new challenges.
