Meet Sanghvi is a Master's student in Information Technology at Arizona State University, with a strong background in software development and data science. He has experience working on Python-based full-stack websites, as well as developing an Android app for the SUNRISE project in collaboration with North Arizona University. Meet's current position is as a Software Developer at ASU Decision Theatre, where he is responsible for developing, modifying, and updating new and existing features. One of his current projects is developing a Django-based website called 'Community of Practice,' which is a platform for teachers from tribal communities to connect and share their learning pedagogy for various courses and topics. Meet's interests lie in Python full-stack development, including Flask/Django, MySQL, HTML/CSS/JS/Bootstrap, but he is also comfortable with Java and JavaScript. In the past, Meet has worked as a data science and automation intern at Worley ECR - Indian Offices, where he developed Flask-based web apps for internal use that perform data extraction on PDFs to extract and convert the data into a pre-determined format. Meet's experience includes performing data analysis and visualization on MySQL databases, improving module performance and efficiency by refactoring and reducing lines of code, and developing back-end and front-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance. Meet's technical skills include software engineering, Android development, Flask, web development, Python, MySQL, data science, Django, computer vision, JavaScript, UI design, front-end and back-end development, NLP, and Selenium.
