Megha Bedi is a data-driven cloud professional with a focus on solving problems through modern technology and strategy. With over 4.5 years of relevant experience, she is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at Google, where she is responsible for driving technological advances in the field of Big Data and Cloud. Prior to her current role, Megha worked as a Cloud Data Engineer at Pythian, where she modernized and built Enterprise Data Platforms and Cloud-based solutions for customers. Her responsibilities included assisting client application developers, translating complex requirements into detailed designs, and working on complex Cloud-based projects. She also secured components of clients' Cloud Data platforms, performed data processing requirements analysis, and developed data pipelines. Before joining Pythian, Megha worked as a Software Development Engineer at HSBC, where she migrated legacy systems to new Cloud Platforms. She implemented process and data engineering solutions, designed and implemented Data Reconciliation Solutions, and devised various efficient operational processes. She also worked with various vendors, including Google, to transform existing warehouses and build reporting dashboards. Megha holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Her tech stack includes Data Engineering, Big Data, Integration, Software Engineering, and testing. Outside of work, Megha is a mentor and shares her knowledge and expertise through her Medium blog. She is passionate about driving technological advances and solving complex problems through modern technology and strategy.
