Megham Garg is a highly motivated and skilled problem solver with a passion for product development, finance, sports, entrepreneurship, and skill hunting. With almost three years of experience in the software development industry, Megham has established himself as a reliable and dedicated professional. Currently working as an SDE-2 at Tranzact, Megham has played a crucial role in migrating the reporting feature of Tranzact from a monolith module to a separate microservice with major performance updates due to version upgrades, and architectural revamp. He has also implemented an internal command line tool which is essentially a wrapper over AWS CLI to automate the process of deploying & destroying frontend and backend to staging environment which ended up reducing the new deployment time from 1-2 hours to under 5 mins. Megham has incorporated refresh token and access token into the authentication mechanism, making it more robust. He has implemented server-less deployment architecture for frontend using AWS S3 and cloud-front distribution and profile deletion feature on both front-end and backend. Megham has also implemented user behaviour tracking through third party integrations and a new home page of the website to reduce the drop-off of users. He has migrated 2 out of 3 most crucial paid modules from a Django template base structure to Vue, Django, DRF API based architecture and improvised many short tech sprints which were mainly focused around fixing existing bugs and code refactor. Megham has implemented behaviour tagging for user behaviour-driven product experience and helped in reducing API average response time from 800 ms to 200 ms. In addition to his current role, Megham also provides freelance software development services where he helps small-sized startups who are looking to launch the MVP in the upcoming year or so, build an excellent product in which investors would want to invest and users would love to use. Megham holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Jaypee University of Information Technology. He is a software engineer with expertise in frontend development.
