Meghana is a product enthusiast with over 5 years of experience in complete product lifecycle development across the USA and India. She is committed to delivering innovations and driving business growth by leveraging her technical expertise and people skills. Meghana has experience in Agile-Scrum/Kanban, Business Driven Development, UI/UX Design, Product Roadmap, Design Thinking, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Sprint Planning, Client/Vendor Relationship Management, Cross-Functional Team Management, PRD, BRD, MVP, Data Analysis, Product Strategy, Market Analysis, Risk Management, and DevOps. Currently, Meghana is working as a Product Owner at Kaplan. She has previously worked as a Teaching Volunteer at Youth for Seva (YFS) and a Product Engineer at Team Focus Insurance Group. At YFS, she tailored and executed a training program to mentor Karnataka State Government School’s Class 10 students in the subjects of Science and Mathematics for state board examinations. At Team Focus Insurance Group, she led a major overhaul of the insurance quoting web application, migrated from a legacy UI to a modern, responsive, optimized User Interface using the Angular framework. She also designed and developed a Digital Payment Solution - a recurring ACH payment module for the insurance premium quote generator, leading to reduced customer service intervention and increased e-payments. Additionally, she improved and enforced quality standards with JUnit tests - unit, integration & regression testing. Meghana holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida (2016-2017) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University (2010-2014).
