Mehar Kaila is a skilled Software Development Engineer with over 3 years of experience in building mobile apps, React Native, Android, React, NodeJS, and Javascript. He is currently working as a Co-Founder at WordleCup.io, a viral multiplayer Wordle game for mobile and PC browsers that has been played by over 200K players and featured in several media publications. Mehar solely built the game, website, backend, and the multiplayer system capable of handling thousands of concurrent players. Besides tech, he worked on the product, design, and everything else under the sun. His tech stack includes ReactJS, Typescript, NodeJS, ExpressJS, Redis, and websockets. Prior to his current role, Mehar worked as a Software Development Engineer at Swiggy, where he built the Swiggy Delivery Partner mobile app that powers hundreds of thousands of delivery executives. He worked on React Native, with Kotlin and Java whenever needed, and built a system to detect location spoofing and app cloning fraud on their Delivery platform, leading to cost savings of $3million+. He also worked on the number masking feature, allowing users to hide their real number from delivery partners, and worked on delivery instructions, enabling users to select multiple instructions on order checkout that are seamlessly done during delivery. Mehar also worked as a Mobile Engineer at Credenc, a fintech startup backed by Omidyar Network that provides education loans. He built a suite of finance mobile app & web app products with React Native and React. Mehar holds a Master of Computer Applications degree in Computer Science from USICT, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and a Bachelor's degree from Delhi University. His other interests are in Information Security, Anonymity, and coding for social good. He is passionate about building software that solves real-world problems and is always open to new ideas and challenges.
