Mehul Arora is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for machine learning and robotics. He is currently pursuing his B.Tech in Information Technology at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, and has recently completed his MS in Computer Science at UC San Diego. Mehul has a strong background in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning, and has worked as a software development engineer for CV & DL at preimage. He has also worked as a data scientist at PayU, where he developed credit modeling techniques and created an automated user profiling code to provide insights on handcrafted metrics. Additionally, he has worked as a research intern at The University of Bonn, where he built an offline approach for the creation of static maps using LiDAR data and created a novel ground segmentation algorithm. Mehul is a keen learner and has a strong interest in the use of deep learning in autonomous and intelligent systems. He is proficient in Robot Operating System and enjoys building IoT and robotics-based projects. He has a solid foundation in machine learning and data science, making him an asset to any team. Mehul has a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, and a high school degree in Science from M.G.N Public School UE-2 Jalandhar. He has a relevant experience of 2.19 years and possesses a strong tech stack, including deep learning, software engineering, computer vision, image processing, research scientist, and data scientist.
