Mehul Batra is a highly skilled and experienced data professional with a passion for democratizing data intelligence. With nearly 5 years of relevant experience, he brings a unique combination of deep technical expertise and strong analytical experience to the table, enabling him to contribute to making an organization data-driven and following the path of data mesh architecture. Mehul's persistent thirst for knowledge has allowed him to learn a very broad set of technologies, including Java/Python, Springboot, BI tools, Cloud Warehouses/Lakes, Nosql Stores, Messaging Queues, and Data Streaming/Processing Frameworks. He is a skilled public speaker and process architect, with academic expertise in microservices, platform designing, real-time streaming, ETL, ELT, and Cloud. Currently working as an SDE-2 (Data Platform) at Dream11, Mehul is involved in various projects, including working on self-serve in-house Anomaly Detection Platform, enabling real-time analytics with latency less than 3 seconds, and working on a no-code/low-code in-house ETL platform, among others. He is also learning and working with Spring Boot to design in-house data platforms to churn up to 100 million of data. Mehul's past experience includes working as a Software Engineer - Data at Pitney Bowes, where he worked on sliding and tumbling windows to give on-the-fly analytical answers to business, scrutinizing multiple data quality and data catalog tools for better data warehouse enablement, working on NoSQL integration workflows, and handling semi-structured data in the data lake for data science model training, among other things. Mehul holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering and has completed his high school education from Model School, Rohtak.
